We’ve Moved!

No, not from Naperville. It was just too much work to maintain separate blogs for each of us, so we’ve consolidated. From now on all new posts will be found at http://jaromin.com/blog.
See ya there!

See ya there!
Annalise is definitely not a baby anymore. She graduated to a “big girl bed” today after boycotting her crib for the past 2 weeks! She goes around singing ABC’s and can count to 13 consistently. She is such a good big sister to Sean.
Annalise is getting to be such a big girl now! She weighed in at 29lbs at her 2 year doctor’s appointment. She better watch out, Sean is catching up to her quick! She definitely knows exactly what she wants (”Mama’s turn” or “Daddy’s turn” when it’s time to get out of the car seat, high chair, etc) and she’s not afraid to tell you. She is getting so smart too. She can count to 10 and is recognizing letters in her alphabet puzzles. She just amazes us every day with what she knows.
Annalise definitely “gets” the idea of Christmas now. She recognizes Santa and says (or whispers) “Ho, Ho, Ho”. She had a great time when we went to Buffalo on the 21st to celebrate Christmas early with Daddy’s side of the family. She loved playing with and chasing all of her cousins. I don’t know if Grandma and Grandpa’s house will be the same! We made it back home (despite plane delays and lots of turbulence) to celebrate Christmas in Naperville with Mommy’s side of the family. Annalise’s eyes grew wide and all she could say was “WOW” when she came downstairs Christmas morning and saw the gingerbread house Daddy decorated and all of the presents Santa left. Annalise and Sean love playing with all of the toys that they received from family, friends and Santa. Everyone was so generous.
Sean and I had a pumpkin farm filled weekend this Columbus Day weekend. On Friday we went to Kuiper’s Family Farm with Aunt Bethie and “Aunt” Lisa to get apples and pictures with all the pumpkins. Then Mommy and Daddy took us to Johannsen’s Pumpkin Farm on Sunday. We went through the petting zoo and I pet a goat, a baby chick, and I rode a pony! I didn’t have to hold on or anything! It was so much fun. On Columbus Day Mommy, Aunt Kathy, Aunt Bethie, Keara (or “Ra” as I like to call her) took Sean and I to Goebbert’s Pumpkin Farm. In their petting zoo, not only did they have cows, goats, and chicks, but they also had lion cubs, tigers, and giraffes! I got to ride another pony and this time Mommy remembered the camera. This weekend was hot but also a lot of fun!
